HUD Announces Funding Availability for New Supportive Services Research Demonstration

HUD announced January 20 the availability of $15 million in funding for up to 80 participants in a new Supportive Services Demonstration for Elderly Households in HUD-Assisted Multifamily Housing. The purpose of the Demonstration is to produce valid evidence about the impact of supportive services for the elderly on health outcomes.

  • An initial Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document was released Jan. 27.
  • A webcast was presented February 2 to an audience of 2500 viewers.
  • An archive of the webcast have been posted online.
  • Applications are due April 18.
  • Awards are expected to be made in July 2016.
