The National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) announced plans to strengthen efforts to fight elder abuse, neglect and exploitation at both residential and non-residential settings over the next year.
Protecting America’s Seniors: Attorneys General United Against Elder Abuse includes attorneys general in all 50 states, U.S. territories and the District of Columbia.
In an interview with McKnight’s Senior Living, Kansas Attorney General and NAAG President Derek Schmidt said that every state is different in its approach and the goal of the initiative is to identify some of the best ideas from around the country and make them readily available to adapt for other states.
